Welcome to the homepage of Prof. Sumit Chaudhary's research group. Prof. Chaudhary is Associate Professor in Electrical and Computer Engineering, with courtesy appointment in Materials Science and Engineering, and an associate of US Department of Energy Ames Laboratory.

Our research interests span renewable energy, hybrid organic/inorganic electronic materials and devices (currently, mainly solar cells), photonic structures, new device fabrication techniques, understanding of basic device physics, and optoelectronic device components such as novel electrodes.

Our group is literally multidisciplinary with student researchers from Electrical Engineering, and Materials Science and Engineering, working together. We also heavily collaborate with other researchers in other departments such as Physics, Chemistry, and Ames Laboratory.
