Course Objectives: At completion of this course, students should be able to

Objective 1: Apply engineering economic analysis to inform wind energy deployment decisions;

Objective 2: Describe basics of wind turbine electrical design and power system integration issues;

Objective 3: Use basic elements of material, manufacturing, supply chain and transportation engineering towards design of wind energy components;

Objective 4: Articulate the basic principles and challenges associated with wind turbine tower design and construction.
