Textbooks:
1. The required text for the course is Probability
and Computing: Randomized Algorithms and Probabilistic Analysis by Michael
Mitzenmacher and Eli Upfal. This text is not available in the bookstore
yet, so contact me for how to obtain a copy.
2. The following book is highly recommended:
Randomized Algorithms, by Rajeev Motwani and Prabhakar Raghavan
Grading:
The grade will be mainly based on Homework Sets and Take Home Exams.
1. Homeworks: 50%
2. Exams: 30%
3. Class Participation: 20%
