We will have two kinds of homeworks in this class: collaborative and non-collaborative.
In solving the collaborative homeworks, you can talk to the other students in the class, and share ideas with them. But the solutions have to written by yourself (for example, you cannot directly copy a friend's solution).
The non-collaborative homeworks have to be solved by yourself without the help of anyone else (it's like a take-home exam). You are encouraged to think about these problems and write down any partial solutions that you might have, even if you can't solve the whole problem.
Homeworks are due: Thursday before class.
The penalties for handing in late are:|
